I wanted to try Pamela's challenge of a rainbow snowflake, so I chose a pattern in Jon's book called Pirouette, and had a go. I hate this scanner because the colours are so much brighter in real life, but I hope you get an idea. It was so clever the way the colour repeat just did one spoke of the snowflake each time. I missed a chain in the last spoke, (grrr!) but I am so pleased with this otherwise.

Your snowflake turned out great! I love the way the colorway repeats itself in just one spoke, too! (just like you said). I just got Jon's book this last month and I am looking forward to tatting some snowflakes out of it! Thanks for the "preview".
Gosh the colour repeat is magic...all carefully planned of course!! That's another one for me to do.
Isn't it lovely.
Consider yourself awarded the One Sweet Blog award, you are the second to complete my challenge.
Ahhgg! (ducks to avoid award!)
thanks, though for the compliment.
The thread is wonderful, and I was so excited with the pattern working like that...even the central daisy, which was so pretty I did it twice and gave one to a friend.
This just doesn't show how pretty it is, and as I said it is a thread to lift the spirits....
Your snowflake is very pretty! I love the way the colors flow!
You ducked pretty well as it missed you completely and came back like a boomerang!
Now I am blushing to match the thread that lifts your spirits!
Very pretty Snowy. You did a great job. Isn't the thread wonderful? Nice of you to cheer a friend.
Ooooh, it worked out so beautifully with the Pamela's rainbow HDT. I noticed the colour repeat almost immediately.
Hmmm, where did I leave my 'Jon' book? Must have a go at this pattern. Love the thread too.
Very nice! Everyone is having such fun with this thread. Jon's book is just wonderful.
I love the rainbow thread! I recently got some rainbow from a friend of mine too and made some snowflakes as well. Ill post them here soon.
