Trying the new thread

New thread, new shuttle...old pattern. I thought I would have another go at Flowery Meadow from Blomqvist and Perrson only this time I have managed the second row without a mistake.

looking good, how is your wrist these days?

Snowy your motifs look beautiful! It looks like you're using some of the new Lizbeth thread that Diane sent you on the left! I'm not quite sure which thread is used on the right. Glad to see you are having fun with your new goodies! :)

Very pretty! The Blomqvist and Perrson book does have some lovely doilies in it and the unusual, very abbreviated presentation of the written directions makes some of them a little difficult to follow. I found it very amusing that in the copy I borrowed from the lady who taught me to tat, she had scrawled in pencil just inside the front page: "instructions are inadequitt!". Not true, but they can be a bit of a challenge.

Ooh! Very pretty! I've been meaning to tat a pattern from this book. I guess I should stop thinking about it and just do it!

Sue, my wrist is fine, and I have recuperated practically all movement! I hope yours is coming along?
TattingChic, yes, well spotted, new Lizbeth on the left, and old Anchor on the right.
Suzanne, I spend ages with those instructions, sometimes I have to "do it in pencil" to get it, via a little diagramme on a piece of paper. I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles. :0) So
Diane, be warned! Actually I am furious because I made a mistake on a Myra Piper design, with some HDT, aagghh! :( I must pay more attention!

Very pretty, I have the book but have never made anything from it. S'pose I should do.
