Round 2 of heart doily

I am so tied up with puppies and work and bobbin lace, however I do get a little bit of this doily done most evenings. I like the colour of this thread, a gift from Fox, and this is very relaxing. I have begun round three but wanted to show this stage finished, before adding the next row.

Fox, there are at least three mistakes in round 1 which I just ignored! I am not a perfectionist, and this is all about relaxation... Round 2 is straightforward, and I have done five repeats on round 3, which is also fairly simple if a little slower. Round 1 had some kind of complicated repeat which just kept tripping me up... Now the knotted lace book arrived at last and...I am crap at it. I possibly should keep practising, but my metal energy levels just don't keep going till the evening. :(
I am glad to have the book, and maybe I will come back to it in the future. Your "messterpiece" is much more impressive now that I have had a go, and it is pinned on my mantelpiece between a couple of tatted snowflakes, and that is the sum of my festive decorations! (I hate Christmas, and find the tinsel and lights irritating in the extreme!)
