You're so square

This is my attempt at one of the squares from Iris Niebach's booklet Tatting Together, Square Motifs. I found it quite challenging, and this is a long way from being right, but I felt it was worth showing. Sometimes, bad tatting is as interesting as good... My excuse is that it was mostly done while on night-duty, which can be a jelly brain time. (Dealing with drunken phone calls at 2 am can be a bit distracting to the real business in hand!)

Pretty design, I like your choice of colors. It looks like you've got spam, oh, no.

I'm glad you're posting a piece that you think isn't quite right... it makes me feel that there is hope for me! By the way, I think it looks beautiful!

Thanks for commenting...yes I've been struck by spam, I am going to have to moderate comments...I'm really sorry.

I put my blog on comment moderation, too, after I saw the spam on a few sites. I think you can delete that, too. It's not your fault, dam spam (hee hee~I'm not usually prone to profanity but it was like a miniature poem)

This is really not an easy design, but your realisation is already very good and it looks beautiful. I also had to put my comments on moderation, because I received also spam with attached viruses.

Thank you Iris! I didn't realise you would see it...
I am looking forward to trying some of the other designs, they are really attractive.
